Erica Durance Biography

Erica Durance (* June 21, 1978 in Calgary, Canada) is a Canadian actress.

Erica was born in Calgary and grew up in Three Hills, Alberta. After her high school degree Erica moved with her parents Joel and Gail Durance to Vancouver. There she discovered her love of acting. Ericas first appearances were in commercials, guest roles in television series such as Tru Calling, Stargate - command SG-1 or Andromeda followed. They also played a secondary role in the horror film House of the Dead.

In 2004 came to her big breakthrough as the role of Lois Lane in the television series Smallville got. In the fourth season (2004-2005) had some guest appearances and was at the beginning of the fifth season (2005-2006) regular member in the occupation of the series. 2006 she played the role of Julie in the 2nd Butterfly Effect

In January 2005 she married the Erica actor David Palffy and lives with him in Vancouver, British Columbia.
