Joe Lo Truglio

Joseph "Joe" Lo Truglio (born 2 December 1970) is an American actor, screenwriter and comedian. It is most famous for being a recurring character in the sketches of the comedy series The State.

Its beginnings

Truglio born in Ozone Park, New York, but grew up in Margate, Florida and graduated from Coconunt Creek High Shool. He met many of his colleagues at State University of New York, where he participated in a comedy club act. The club were David Wain, Michael Showalter, Michael Ian Black, Thomas Lennon, Kerri Kenney-Silver and Robert Ben Garant, which would become the cast of The State.

Carrier

Lo Truglio not only wrote and acted in several episodes of The State, also participated in the animation of the show. After The State, completed in 1995, he appeared in other programs, starting with another comedy show: Upright Citizens Brigade, Law & Order and Third Watch.

In 2001, Lo Truglio appeared in the work of his former partner of The State, David Wain, in Wet Hot American Summer, where he participated as an advisor.

Then in 2005 she appeared on the Comedy Central show Stella. Then came Showalter's film The Baxter. He has appeared on Reno 911!, And the movie Reno 911!: Miami. He has lent his voice to several video games including Grand Theft Auo: San Andreas and The Warriors. In 2005, he lent his voice to Rockstar Games for use with Vincenzo "Lucky" Cilli.

He has appeared in several television commercials, including ads for Gateway Computer and one particularly memorable for Kack Link Beef Jerky.

Recientemenre Lo Truglio as Francis the driver appeared in the Judd Apatow comedy Superbad and Seth Rogen and Paul Mardinu appears in The Ten. In 2008 he participated in the film Pineapple Express and Fanboys.
