Ryan Leslie (September 25, 1978 in Atlanta, Georgia) is an American music producer, singer and songwriter. He is founder and president of the NextSelection lifestyle group labels and has worked with Usher, P. Diddy, Beyonce, Britney Spears.

Leslie are the American Salvation Army (Salvation Army Officers).
Leslie lived as a child in many different U.S. cities, including Atlanta, Nashville, Richmond, Oakland, San Francisco and Stockton, and he should have with 14 years of change already at its fifth high school. Ryan then attended Harvard University in Boston and was there in 1998 with 19 years of study. During this time he discovered the jazz group of the University "The Harvard The Daily" his passion for music. There he sang and learned his "vocal arrangement.
Ryan even skipped school to organize concerts and talent competitions, and spent more than 30 hours per week in the local studio to build his basic knowledge.
In 2000, he met Corey Williams, for which he is the song "Never Met a Girl" produced ". So they took part in the Teen People competition, won and even landed in 2001 a contract for Williams on Motown Records (part of Universal Motown Records). Spurred on by his "Music Lawyer" and consultants Ed Woods occurred in the spring of 2003 a turning point: Woods gave him a 30 days contract in which he produced a few songs for Bad Boy Records. After he returned to New York City, Harlem and moved had organized his own music production company that NextSelection Lifestyle Group, he met Cassandra Ventura, known as Cassie. With it he recorded the song "Just One Night" in his own studio now. His next song with her called "Me & You". He played for Tommy Mottola, who offered Cassie a record contract.
