Yves Behar
Yves Behar (born 1967 in Lausanne, Switzerland) is a Swiss living in the U.S. industrial designer and founded in 1999 Fuseproject, a San Francisco-based design and branding firm. He is considered one of the leading industrial designers.
Life
Behar's mother is from East Germany and his father was a Turkish Jew. He studied industrial design at first at the "Art Center College of Design," in La Tour de Peitz, Switzerland, and moved after a year in the Mother House in Pasadena, California, where he studied as a BSc of Industrial Design completed. Then He worked for the company Frogdesign and Lunar Design, who developed for companies such as Apple, Hewlett-Packard and Silicon Graphics products.
He is Chairman of the Industrial Design Department at the California College of the Arts.
